My initial goal is to create a comfortable environment where my client will feel safe with no judgement as it takes courage to take the first step towards the journey of healing. As a therapist, I am here to support my client with active listening, empathy, warmth, kindness, caring, and honesty. During treatment, I incorporate a variety of modalities into my therapeutic approach, to suit each client and their unique needs as I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. Together we will develop a realistic plan and I will assist the client in obtaining the tools and other resources they need for their mental health toolbox where they can refer to at any time. Life assignments are an important part of the process and help to assist in the client’s growth. I enjoy being creative in my approach, I believe the client is the expert in their own life, and I am there to guide the client on their journey as they learn to grow towards healing and self-support.
